We ran multiple mini-surveys all week with just one word or idea for each one. People were asked to answer if the idea turned them on … or turned them off. Some of them revolved around sexual activities, some of them revolved around different types of porn preferences, some of them had a hint of asking where people draw a moral line, and some of them were just plain ridiculous. Each had around 50 responses and they all did the same thing – create an understanding of where people stand as far as certain turn-on’s are concerned … or at least how popular / unpopular the turn-on’s are with people.

One point of interest is the timing of the answers. People who answered during the day tended to answer differently than the people who answered in the later hours of the night. I would see one answer trending before I went to bed and then wake up to find that the other answer had surpassed it over night The daytime people tended to be a little more conservative than their night owl counterparts.
